Preferred Qualifications
We're a fast moving, highly skilled team responsible for building MySQL Shell, the MySQL command line interface tool that implements the management layer for the MySQL Server and MySQL InnoDB Cluster, as well as utilities that DBAs in the top companies around the world rely on for their day-to-day work.
As a member of our team, you will participate in projects such InnoDB Cluster, the end-to-end High-Availability solution for MySQL, Container-based self-managing MySQL deployments and much more.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years experience developing C++ and/or Python software.
- Good knowledge about system level Linux or Windows Operating System programming interfaces, as well as TCP/IP networking.
- MySQL or other database development experience.
- Experience working in a production environment in a DevOps, SRE or similar position desirable.
- BS, MS or PhD degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent.
Detailed Description and Job Requirements
Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.
