CFOM Junior Manager in Bucuresti


This role is part of Record to Report department.

The role is responsible for providing technical advice and assistance during reporting cycles, by focusing on understanding and solutioning the errors generated during the transactions processing, accounting related issues encountered during the month end activities which are impacting the quality of the reporting services. The objective of this role is to enable the FSSCs to meet their business objectives by providing quality general accounting analysis and overall business support for end markets.

  • Serve as an independent contributor for a component of the Record to Report function expansive of Intercompany, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Reconciliations, Month End Close, Statutory & Financial Reporting, Management reporting, data integrity and quality
  • Provide QA, technical advice & assistance during the reporting cycles
  • Provide support in implementation of the accounting policy changes, maintain a rigid system of internal controls in the record-to-report process, ensure compliance with group reporting requirements
  • Submission of the management reporting unit as well as legal entity reporting requirements as per the deadlines and with the frequency set by the IBPM process. This includes preparation, review, and posting of financial adjustments, investigating any major variances, reviewing of the reasonableness of the balances, and ensuring IFRS and GMAP have been accurately applied in the financial reports
  • Performing process reviews/improvement/streamlining and UAT system testing
  • Serve as a SME to other Record-to-Report colleagues
  • Identify material movements based on pre-established template
  • Perform analytical review to ensure the movements vs. previous periods or vs. the previous forecast make sense

  • At least 3 years of experience in a global FMCG or similar dynamic operating environment
  • Understands the impact of the accounting process and practice
  • Understands the platforms and analyses reports, identifies issues and challenges within reports functionalities and data
  • Understands and applies relevant financial skills and knowledge
  • Able to drive projects and process improvements and handles a remote customer base model
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, proactive, and can work under pressure with minimum supervision
  • Degree educated with professional accountancy qualification (i.e. CA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA) or in progress
  • A thorough understanding and knowledge of relevant finance tools and systems, specifically BI/BPC, SAP or equivalent
