Role description: Measure, manage, control and optimise cloud costs within the company. Role accountabilities: Design and implement cloud expenditure management and reporting practices into a complex cloud environment Define and maintain tagging policies, organizational structures for recharging, etc. Manage cloud costs, ensure that costs are recharged accurately across the organisation Apply data analysis to the cloud resource costs Look for opportunities to optimise cloud consumption to decrease spending Create cost dashboards, organization specific reporting and have detailed understanding of the generated resource consumption report Communicate costs and recharge details to the relevant stakeholders Qualifications & Experience: Years of experience working with public clouds (MS Azure, GCP and/or AWS) 2-3 years of experience in designing and managing cloud costs (MS Azure preferred) Very good communication skills at senior level Experience in cost optimisation methods reserving/resizing/deleting resources, Azure Advisor, Cost Calculator, etc.) Experience in reporting tools such Power BI, and proficient in Excel Experience in budgeting and accounting basics Public cloud trained (MS Azure, GCP or AWS) Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering is preferred.
