About the RoleThe primary responsibility of the role is to research, analyze and rate the corporate governance policies of the largest and/or most controversial publicly-traded companies in the world. The analyst will use custom research methodology to prepare the company reports to be published in the Sustainalytics Platform and will make use of his/her analytical skills to summarize key findings of the corporate governance research in insightful analyst views.Job ResponsibilitiesCollects data from open sources and third-party data providersAnalyses and interprets the collected dataMaintains relevant information in internal research platformsAuthor an Analyst View and Key Issue Comments that highlight the companies most material Corporate Governance themes and risksCollaborates with reviewers while implementing feedbackStays up-to-date with research methodologyReports regularly and reliably different steps of the research processPromote and champion our CG ratings to the market, clients and prospects in order to support marketing, account management and sales efforts by supporting publications such as the weekly Governance in Brief newsletter.QualificationsStrong analytical and research capabilities;Excellent English skills (at least B2 level) are required as the company’s working language is English;Attention to details and ability to manage time to ensure targets are achieved;Flexible and adaptable, embracing change and a fast-paced environment;Resourceful and able to work independently;Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel;Nice to haveProfessional experience in researchProfessional experience in Corporate Governance or a related fieldAdditional language skills, such as Mandarin, Portuguese or Russian #LI-DN1About UsSustainalytics is a Morningstar company dedicated to responsible investment with over 25 years' experience in ESG research and ratings.
