In this role you build, grow and inspire a group of software development engineers to expand the Creative Cloud Business. You will lead your team's efforts in areas like design, layout, text and rendering to name a few. You will have high visibility and responsibility within Adobe.ResponsibilitiesYou will hire and directly manage a team of world class engineers while being responsible for driving all aspects of implementation, quality assurance, continuous integration and deployment, and application monitoring.You will be in charge of creating and instilling a team culture that focuses on engineering excellence, but also encourages deep engagement with our customers and out of the box thinking.You will mentor team members and contribute to the research of excellency in terms of architecture and code design.You will participate in the design and review of features, technology choices, architecture, designs, time and budget estimates, and test strategies.You will manage project scope and risks with creative problem solving.You will drive team efficiency and develop engineering processes and collaboration models to optimise team to boost that.You will work closely with teams and managers at Adobe, across the world.RequirementsB.S. / M.S. degree in Computer Science or equivalent.5+ years as a software engineer working on commercial software.3+ years as a software engineering manager.Outstanding verbal and written English communication.Demonstrated ability to build a diverse team of top engineers in a competitive job market.Strong working knowledge of modern software development methodologies and software design patterns.Strong customer empathy and demonstrated engagement with customers and partners to truly delight users.Experience with Agile software development methodologies such as Scrum.Very strong grasp of Computer Science fundamentals, especially OOP, data structures, and design patterns.Passion and a love of what you do!
