The opportunity As a Senior Manager in EY you will serve as Engagement Lead and primary point of contact to clients for cybersecurity assessment, architecture, implementation and operations including threat detection, threat response, threat hunting, threat intelligence, program management and technology management. You will provide strategic leadership on your engagements to a Core Team. Team members work collaboratively in pursuing, planning, initiating, operating and managing engagements to assess, improve, build and operate integrated security operations for clients. Key Responsibilities: Support new business opportunities by participating in market-facing activities and developing thought leadership materials. Lead teams and collaborate across teams to generate new ideas that connect EY’s capabilities to clients. Develop and maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Understand EY and its service lines and actively assess/present ways to serve clients. Support business development efforts by helping to scope and size engagements based on client requirements coupled with their individual needs in terms of cost, people, process and technology. Participate in RFP responses and proposals. Use project management methods, effective communication, support resources and technology on client engagements to enhance the efficiency of services and effectiveness of outputs. Ensure engagement teams achieve all contractual requirements. Deliver high quality work products and client services. Participate in quality reviews, assessments and corrective actions. Drive outputs and deliverables within expected timeframes and within budget. Develop plans, oversee activity, monitor progress, manage risk, and ensure key stakeholders are informed about progress and expected outcomes. Leading specific security engagements reviewing a client’s cyber maturity, advising on improvement roadmaps, assessing a client’s compliance with industry leading practice standards, or optimising cyber defence operations. Leading client engagements: with responsibility from initial scoping of the work, managing the delivery team and closing out the engagement. You would be expected to also take responsibility for tracking the engagement economics and overseeing the commercial relationship with the client. Oversee the development of draft and final reports. Ensure confidentiality and integrity of engagement reports and documentation including archival at the end of engagements. Lead internal engagement team meetings, participate in internal engagement key stakeholder meetings and participate in client technical, ad hoc and regular reporting meetings. Attend ad hoc client meetings for changes in client environments, new technologies, improvement initiatives, workshops, brainstorming sessions or problem-solution meetings. Requirements: Completed technical higher education in the field of computer science or related fields Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in operating, managing, designing, implementing, maintaining, or supporting cybersecurity technology Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in SOC operations and/or incident response Understanding of technologies and solutions utilized in cybersecurity and networks (SIEM, SOAR, Firewalls, IAM, DLP, IDS/IPS, End Point Protection, Threat Management/Intelligence.) Possession of certificates or education related to cybersecurity, information technology, or engineering; possession of cybersecurity certifications e.g., CISSP, GCIH, GMON, GSOC Knowledge of current hacking techniques, vulnerability disclosures, data breach incidents, and security analysis techniques with understanding of intrusion detection concepts and information security defense Possess in-depth business acumen. Well-versed in interacting with CXO and board-level stakeholders, while exhibiting diplomacy and tact when presenting topics. Prior leadership experience, +3-5 years highly recommended Full professional proficiency in English, especially in technical writing and oral communications
