About the RoleAs a Data Analyst on the Digital Operations Team (DOT), he or she will be involved in a broad range of tasks, combining independent work and collaboration with various stakeholders with the aim to deliver timely and high-quality research to clients.Background- Some HighlightsThe Data Analyst position will be a part of the Digital Operations Upstream Team (DOT), on the Corporate Pillar (CDOT).This new Pillar would be responsible for handling the matching and operational aspects of licensed ratings & supply chain, and it will be responsible for managing end-to-end operational activities that will enable research and data update and data quality to flow throughout our databases and platforms.The Corporate Pillar (CDOT) will contain Upstream and Downstream components:• Upstream team - defines processes together with other teams in Sustainalytics who are involved in the workflow (commercial teams, research teams, other ICT teams etc.) One main responsibility of upstream team will be to define, review, document and update on an ongoing basis all operational processes which need to be supported by this Pillar.• Downstream team - receives the orders (ESG licensed ratings, portfolios with corporate suppliers) and take them from end to end, which will require implementation of all activities in the systems, as per the established processes, and maintain communication with the stakeholders involved in the workflow related to these requests (client facing teams, research teams, other ICT teams).Job Responsibilities• Manage, from a business perspective, the data related to the entities that are the subject of our research and maintain them in all internal systems• Support the client facing teams by providing information related to the research entities existing in our products, coverage of client or prospects’ portfolios by our research products and planning research according to clients’ needs. For this purpose, you will collaborate with colleagues from all over the world to ensure the timely support for company’s clients and prospects• Use the internal platforms and tools, as well as any relevant external sources, to identify corporate information related to the business entities received in client portfolios and prepare the necessary data environment for research activation in internal systems• Support and monitor the timely delivery of research by maintaining close communication with several research teams related to entities that need to be covered with research and monitor the deadlines of specific deliveries• Collaborate with ICT teams to provide the necessary configuration of the internal and external tools and platforms to enable access for specific stakeholders• Collaborate with various stakeholders in the company to innovate the way we deliver data to achieve operational excellence.Qualifications• Knowledge and understanding of the services industry (preferably the financial service industry in combination with the SRI/RI market)• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, combined with meticulousness and attention to details• Proficient business English oral and writing skills (the company’s working language is English)• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and good knowledge of other MS Office tools (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)• Ability to work towards strict deadlines and high-quality standards• Flexible mindset and adaptability to a constantly shifting work environment• Team player with the positive attitude• Passion about global sustainability issues like environment protection or human rights is nice to have.• Experience or willing to learn databases scripting (SQL) and reporting tools (SQL and PowerBI)• Master or bachelor’s degree in related discipline (business, finance, science, ICT) would be a plus#LI-DN1About UsSustainalytics is a Morningstar company dedicated to responsible investment with over 25 years' experience in ESG research and ratings.
