Data Engineer (Microsoft Stack) in Bucuresti

Responsibilities Take part in all application development lifecycle phase; Your main responsibilities will be to develop software systems; you will participate in logical and physical design of the product and understand the business requirements. You will solve complex technical problems that other team members may encounter, be an integral part of a Scrum team, review and enforce the quality of code written within your team, tutor junior developers; You will be involved in a broad range of complex technical or professional work activities, in a variety of contexts; You will work under general direction within a clear framework of accountability. Substantial personal responsibility and autonomy is required. Qualifications and Experience Experience with Microsoft Business Intelligence Stack having SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, Experience working with a self-service tool, preferably Power BI or Tableau. Experienced in SQL; Experienced developing visual reports, dashboards and KPI scorecards using Power BI desktop; Proficient in making DAX queries in Power BI desktop. Experienced connecting to data sources, importing data and transforming data for Business Intelligence; Gather Reporting Requirements (actual requirements and future requirements); Understand the business processes that drive data into the systems and has the knowledge to act as a subject matter expert; Investigate data sources, understand and document data behavior Map Reporting Requirements by Subject Areas; Investigate data sources, understand and document data behavior; Evaluate and design data staging, data flow, analytics delivery, data quality and archiving strategies; Model and design target databases (Data warehouse, Data Marts); Create reporting data models against physical Data Marts, Data warehouse for ad-hoc and standard reports oriented to self BI service; Design and develop different kind of reports such as analysis reports, ad hoc and standard reports; Perform unit testing and cross-functional testing; Validate test cases and data sets for testing reports; Train user and power user to create reports, dashboards based on provided data models; Open to working in an agile environment as part of a scrum team; The ability to take the initiative, drive the project and innovate; Having a proactive attitude towards solving problems; Good client facing skills; Good English language skills; Interest in career development and willingness to learn; Willing to travel at client premises
