Database Administrator (Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Team) in Bucuresti

Responsibilities Database design and capacity planning Configure, monitor and tune a variety of SQL and noSQL instances; Provide level 3 technical support to internal software development teams throughout all the stages of application development; Focus on data (any kind of data); Design and maintain backup, restore strategies and security policies; Develop and maintain internal procedures and wiki; Requirements At least 3 years of experience in a similar position; MySQL expert; Experience with other relational or non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Couchbase); Very good knowledge of InnoDB and MyISAM storage engines; Experience with Percona XtraDB Cluster, Galera, Postgre-XL, etc; Knowledge of Linux; Knowledge of programming or scripting in any language; Able to work in a fast pace working environment; Good English in both writing and speaking. Will be a plus: Experience with search engines (ElasticSearch, SOLR, Sphinx); Exposure to Hadoop and Hadoop related technologies; Experience with configuration management tools such as Puppet, Chef, Ansible, etc; Experience with any of the following: Zabbix, Logstash, Graphite, Diamond.
