Database Architect in Piteşti

Responsibilities: Act as internal and external contact person within database (Oracle, MS SQL Server) area of expertise (e.g. look for/find cooperation partners and exchange information with external experts, etc.); cooperate with the internal system architecture team; Formulate and bring suggestions for infrastructure and development architecture to the appropriate committees (e.g. ICT architecture meetings, TK meetings, IT process meetings, etc.); Provide support in selecting and evaluating suppliers and in clarifying technical aspects, in cooperation with purchasing; Assure that user/customer wishes with regard to IT standards and guidelines are taken into consideration and integrated; Develop and determine hardware configuration and software standards for database; Support in determining and optimizing internal standards and complex processes within his/her own area of expertise (e.g. determine the topology for database platform, define the system components and software tools for the platform database, etc.). Requirements: Bachelor's Degree within IT field preffered; At least 3 years experience in Oracle Core DBA with various recent DB releases (12c,19c); At least 1 year experience in database Architecture; Strong knowledge about database administration and deployment (Oracle 11g/12c and Microsoft SQL Server 2012/2016, EDB Postgres); Good knowledge of Oracle Data Guard or other High Available architectures for Oracle Database; Experience of working with Replication technologies (Oracle Streams, Oracle Golden Gate, others); Experience of working with Red Hat Linux or Oracle Enterprise Linux; The ability to understand the links between Database and Applications on one side and OS/Network/Storage on the other side; English - advanced.
