Demand Planner DACH in Bucuresti

Job Description
 

  • Build and validate sales forecast at short, medium and long term on several European markets for all product categories

     

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES / TASKS

  • Works closely with KAM and local Marketing to forecast the volumes of each item sold by the country / area, horizon 18 months;

  • Update forecast into JDA Manugistics;

  • Provides support to Finance Department during quarterly updates of 18 Mo Financial Rolling Forecast;

  • Works in a close collaboration with the Central Demand Planner responsible for the long-term volumes consolidation;

  • Works in close collaboration with the Short-Term Product Availability Coordinator;

  • Works in close collaboration with the Supply Planners for mid/long term volumes;

  • Follows up promotional operations according to the promo plan of the country/ area;

  • Coordinates actions that contribute to secure product availability, with a strong focus on TOP SKUs, key promotions and new listings;

  • Monitors constantly products under quota and sends regular updates of sales vs quota towards Sales and Marketing Departments;  

  • Organizes monthly forecast validation meeting with management;

  • Analyzes and communicates the forecast accuracy results by KAM, product category and Division of Sales;

  • Proposes actions to achieve and improve forecast accuracy and to secure the products availability;

  • Coordinate the slow mover reduction with Sales/Marketing.


Qualifications

 

 

  • 1-3 years’ experience in DEMAND

  • English: ability to animate 1-day presentation in English, challenge people in English

  • 5-10% travel in Europe (10-20 days abroad) - depending of the scope assigned

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Ability to challenge and convince his interlocutors

  • Well organized, management of priorities

  • Decision making skills

  • Good use of IT systems, particularly Excel

  • Can work autonomously

  • Pro active

  • Good interpersonal & communication skills, strong team player
