We help companies like Sony, Hisense and TiVo benefit from the growing number of consumers who watch content on connected devices.When you’re using streaming video applications on your TV you likely see part of our work.With over 16 years experience delivering innovative solutions, Vewd is looking to bring on a C++ Developer in Wrocław.Responsibilities:Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, portable and reliable C++ and Java code (25M+ LOC; majority in C++, but Java/JNI is also there!)Analyse and implement emerging multimedia technologiesResearch new algorithms and optimization towards best performance and end user viewing experienceKeeping code quality on highest standardsRequirements:Proficiency in modern C++ Solid understanding of object-oriented and multi threaded programming principlesAnalytical mindset and problem solving skillsGood working knowledge of English, both written and spokenAdditional bonus points for:Experience with web technologiesKnowledge of multimedia streaming standards or digital audio /r video media formats Passion about premium multimedia experience, HDR, Dolby Vision, surround sound systems, etc. Knowledge of Android, Android MediaCodec / MediaDrm infrastructure Experience with large scale multi-threaded software developmentJava but also JS and Python programming skills
