Job Description As our new Embedded Security Engineer you will be part of a team that designs, develops and integrates highly complex security software solutions within Garrett Advancing Motion. As our new colleague, you will be in charge with: Help define and drive the technical requirements for security features in embedded systems Implement/develop embedded security solution and contribute in testing and performance evaluation Develop component, sub-system and system level threat model and design mitigation solutions to meet secured products Perform design and peer code reviews with team members Contribute to the ongoing improvement of the team’s processes and development practices Communicate effectively with different levels of management and different departments Stay in tune with new technologies Interact with POs, Designers, and Architects for requirements, designs, and architectural decisions To become our new colleague, you must have the following skills and qualifications: BSc/MSc in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering Minimum 3 years’ experience programming in C/C++ Experienced in scripting languages such as matlab/python Experience with automotive electronics principles and equipment’s Experience with basic microprocessor building blocks Experienced in working principles and knowledgeable in various hardware & software based security solutions like HSMs, Secure Boot Experienced in Cryptography and application for embedded automotive solutions Solid programming experience using RTOSes/Linux Experience working with modern 32 bit computer architectures Experience with automotive development processes Experience in communicating technical requirements and managing collaboration with multiple development partners Fluent in English Experience in modern automotive electrical and communication network protocols: TCP/IP, UDP, FTP Exposure to CAN, CANFD, FLEXray, MOST, LIN Exposure to ECU level penetration testing methods Experience in de-bugging electrical hardware functionalities Exposure to AUTOSAR, Automotive Cyber Security and Safety standards and its impact on software development If you wish to be part of our team, we are offering: Training programs; Career growth opportunities on various exciting projects or in the people management area; Experienced leaders to help you guide and support your professional development; Diverse, international and multicultural work environment; Competitive salary and an attractive benefits package; A fast-paced and dynamic work environment full of challenging and interesting work;
