Alstom, registered major success in infrastructure, signaling and also services. The long term service agreement for the maintenance of the rolling stock of Metrorex is a major reference and shows the expertise of Alstom in this field. Alstom will continue to grow his business in Romania proposing further services for the local market and export and works on different rehabilitation projects on the European Corridor IV. Overview: The Engineering Director DIS CEE Southcontributes to projects QCD execution through allocation of adequate (profile & size) team and methods & tools for project engineering Specific responsibilities of the role: Manage & develop projects engineering resources consistent with DIS footprint strategy Ensure that DIS Project Engineering processes, methods & tools are applied and contribute to their improvement Ensure, with the support of Projects Engineering "metier/domain" department heads, that best practices and Rex are identified and shared within Project Engineering Manage competencies development plans with the support or Human Resources Coordinate engineering resources allocation to tenders and projects and ensure that the optimal utilization ratio of resources is reached in accordance with TIS business priorities. Per delegation from DIS Project Engineering Director and Solution Director, he/she can be in charge of the REX (capture and treatment) from the TIS worldwide Project Engineering community, for a given Solution. The REX must consider the process, method & tools. Manage, plan, supervise and report on workload for the Regional Center Project Engineering Qualifications & Experience University / Master Degree in Engineering Minimum 5 years of experience in the Transport/Automobile/Industrial Technology industry Good knowledge of railway systems Good computer skills English language knowledge Alstom is the leading company in the mobility sector, solving the most interesting challenges for tomorrow’s mobility.
