Engineering Manager Computer Vision & AI in Constanţa

C/C++ (advanced) Agile (advanced) Scrum (advanced) We are currently looking for an experienced Engineering Group Manager to work in our Cracow, Poland location. The successful candidate will be responsible for algorithm engineers who main focus are computer vision algorithms. We are looking for someone with a good automotive systems and software understanding who understand the agile approach. You are a self-starter that is able to resolve ambiguity and provide focus across multiple domains of expertise.  Your role Manage resource assignments to project teams to execute development programs Ensure that the team meets project targets in terms of content, quality, timing and cost Play the role of technical mentor for the team developing an ADAS Computer Vision System Attract, recruit and retain new talent Responsible to develop, guide, mentor, evaluate, train, manage and recognize employees Responsible for implementation according to development processes, development standards, development tools and building blocks Active participation in the further development and optimization of development processes and tools  Management of external service providers, in particular the specification of the task, the selection of service providers as well as the monitoring of adherence to schedules, quality and costs Managing Budget & Capital Planning  Your background Bachelor, MSc degree in engineering (preferred) Expertise in designing and modeling complex SW systems Expertise in Scrum based Agile engineering methodology Programming experience in C/C++ Strong written and oral communication skills in English Preferred solid, prior experience with managing a team Commitment to ongoing projects and implementing improvements  Nice to have Preferred prior experience in automotive industry Experience in ADAS or autonomous driving development is a big plus  Aptiv Rewards & Advantages Get a list of benefits such as private health care, child fund, life insurance, Employee Pension Plan (+ 3,5% on each gross salary), trainings, sports activities Multisport card and hybrid type of work.
