The Hotel
Tulfarris has been managed by PREM Group for many years. PREM Group is one of Europe's leading hotel management companies currently operating 48 hotels/extended stay properties across Ireland, the UK, Belgium and France. More than just a hotel, leisure and golf resort, Tulfarris is one of the most picturesque hotels in Wicklow. It is the home to delicious food, fantastic service, relaxed bars and deluxe guest bedrooms with spectacular views across Blessington Lakes and the Wicklow Mountains.This historic Wicklow hotel consists of 80 sumptuous deluxe guest rooms. The Elk Bar and The Lime Tree Restaurant, which boast panoramic views across the golf course and Blessington Lakes. The restaurant seats up to 70 people.Our banqueting suites can cater for up to 250 people, providing a magical setting for weddings and super event venue for all occasions.Within the carefully restored 18th century manor house are our most stunning reception rooms for wedding celebrations and all kinds of special events, including the most spectacular afternoon tea. The 18 hole gole championship golf course was designed by Ireland's renowned golf architect, Patrick J. Merrigan. The imaginative use of the natural landscape blends an exciting design into an excellent golf layout.
The Role
The ideal candidates will be friendly, well presented, who enjoy interacting with people and will have a minimum 1 years experience in a similar role. Fluent English is required for this position. You will be professional and enthusiastic.
Duties include:
- To greet guests on arrival and seat them appropriately
- Full knowledge of all items (food & drinks) on the menu
- Stocking up bar and preparing for service
- Keeping your work area clean and tidy
- Clearing down after service
- Handling cash & credit card payments
- Assisting and helping out in the restaurant when it's require
- Considering the nature of our industry, this role will involve shifts & weekend work
