Expert Delivery Engineer Diagnosis in Bucuresti

Role Purpose

Design, configuration, testing and deployment of systems for access and CPE diagnosis for fixed, cable and fibre networks for consumer and enterprise products.
Ensuring delivery quality by preparation and setup of test environments followed by planning and execution of acceptance, load & stress and regression tests.
Analysing and optimizing system performance together with the life cycle manager.
Coordination of bug fixing, ticket tracking and quality reporting of the test objects.
Engineering support (3rd level) for operational activities together with the system supplier.

Key Accountabilities

Accountable for the integration and the configuration of access and CPE diagnosis systems in the lab and production environment
Accountable for planning and execution of acceptance and regression test
Accountable for planning and supporting of building a new infrastructure in the local markets
Support local market security demands
Ensure that software deliveries for projects are delivered within the quality SLA

Core Competencies

Excellent knowledge of management protocols e.g. SNMP, TR-069, DOCSIS
Strong knowledge of fulfilment architectures according to TM forum
Strong knowledge of VF infrastructure (e.g. GDC, Vino,…) technologies
Engineering degree or equivalent
Independent working, engagement for the job, open minded
Network Technologies and Infrastructure (i.e. IPV4, IPV6, Router, Firewall, Load balancer, DSL, DOCSIS, FTTx)
Network Management Protocols (i.e. DOCSIS 3.0/3.1, TR069, TR181)
Broad telecommunications knowledge
Project management methods, MS-Office Tools like Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Project, Teams
3 years professional experience in telecommunication or IT
knowledge on Cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, MS AZURE
knowledge on Cloud technologies like Docker, Kubernetes
Basic ITIL, ETOM and project management techniques (e.g. Prince2)
