Want to be a part of our team?Oversees and/or performs journal entries, ledgers, balance sheet information, cash flow operations to align to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and ensure compliance. Develops, implements and/or maintains one or more accounting systems: Journal entries, General Ledger, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable, Revenue Reconciliation, etc. Reviews and interprets financial reporting requirements, rules and regulations. Balances books and prepares profit and loss, cash flow, income and balance sheet statements. Monitors and develops monthly reports of revenues and expenditures for projects. Provides record of assets, liabilities and other financial transactions. Prepare and submit Romanian government & agencies requirements and returns. May assist in the setup of processes and procedures that properly capture, track and report revenue, including deferred revenue, in accordance with the company revenue recognition policy. May generate revenue reports for internal and/or external use. May interpret reports and records for managers/stakeholders. May be involved in reviewing, tracking and maintaining billing information in the financial systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Romanian and GAAP and other accounting regulations. Working at NTT Preparation of monthly financial reports covering balance sheet, profit and loss, internal management reports and cash flow statements Managing the general ledger including overseeing the monthly balance sheet, banking and inter-company reconciliations Completion of the monthly accruals, journals, fixed assets and depreciation schedules Weekly cash flow reporting Managing foreign currency payments Preparation and submission of VAT, Payroll and Corporate Income Tax returns Assisting in the preparation of year-end statutory accounts Assisting with the budgeting and forecasting Ensuring Accounting standards and policies are adhered to Ability to advise and perform accounting function according to Romanian Rules and law Supervision of any Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable staff Training and mentoring junior staff Liaison with external Auditors, Bank Managers and Tax specialists Will manage incoming and outgoing invoices – billing, understand Transfer Pricing and Intercompany tax matters Will manage payments and cash allocations reconciliations on Client, vendor, and Bank accounts. What will make you a good fit for the role? Minimum of 3 years of work experience in Accounting Experience in a Chartered Accounting firm can be advantageous Qualified Romanian University – Superior Degree in Economics English Will understand and have detailed experience with SAP Finance functions Process and deadline-driven mindset with a keen eye for detail Critical thinking and problem-solving skills Strong negotiator who can develop ongoing working relationships Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to perform data and statistical analysis to spot trends and anomalies Advanced computer software skills, including Excel and other financial software and tools for reporting and analysis purposes Professional accounting qualification is an advantage High ethics and confidentiality Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal Resilient and tenacious with a propensity to persevere Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization and a team player to work collaboratively with all levels Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges Experience with large-scale organizational change
