Whatever we do, we do it well and we make changes that matter. How could you help us do this? We need a French Speaking HR Advisor to join our team in Bucharest, Romania. The new colleague will support the execution of global HR programs and processes and provide in-country HR support for HR activities which are legally required to be completed in country. Enable employee self-service while achieving a high quality of service and customer satisfaction. This role is also responsible for identifying HR program and process improvement opportunities, and serves as an escalation point for complex (Tier 3) HR Direct cases.What kind of work would you be doing? Provide front-line in-country support to Managers, employees, and HR team members on queries related to HR processes;Serve as an escalation point for HR Direct queries which cannot be answered by Tier 1;Resolve Tier 2-3 queries which do not require deep functional expertise;Manage employee files per specific Country legal requirements;Provide process consultation and support system updates for leave of absence and short-term disability ;File government documents for employee benefits, taxation, involuntary terminations, etc.;Advocate and drive simplification, standardization, automation, and process improvement across HR services;Serve as connection point between Functional Experts and the business in the management and resolution of key HR issues;Identify local / in-country best practices and determine where these can be leveraged to improve global HR delivery;Respond to ad-hoc queries from management and employees by answering questions directly or referring them to the appropriate subject-matter expert;Coach leaders and Managers on performance management, employee engagement, and people management;Support the resolution of HR Direct cases throughout the case lifecycle (as needed) (i.e., from case generation to close);Assist with activities related to HR content management and help ensure relevant / updated content is available on the HR Portal;Support the resolution and management of select Employee Relations issues / cases (e.g., related to routine employee disciplinary activity).Impact/Scope:Scope is typically limited to one country (France, in this case) within or across multiple business units, across all HR functional areas;Support process development with guidance;Contribute to local or in-country solutions;Manage moderately complex business and environments.What achievements should you have so far? We think in order to add immediate value and to succeed in this role, you should have at least 5 years of experience in Human Resources within some sort of corporate environment. Exposure to a tech company would be great, but we are flexible on this! Superior knowledge of core HR processes and HR management practices, including back-end HR processes and procedures;Demonstrated understanding of local and in-country regulatory requirements and the impact on people and HR processes (France);Excellent communication skills, including both written and verbal forms catered to a wide variety of audiences. Advanced level of French and English is mandatory;If you also have a degree in a relevant subject (economic, finance, human resources), great!What about you? This is the most important part!
