Position SummaryThe Functional Owner in the Graphics domain will technically lead and coordinate all efforts to monitor and safeguard the required features inside the corresponding domain within Harman Digital Cockpit projects. She/he will be a main contact for the SW-PL and Functional Domain Leaders and for this she/he will need to have a good understanding about the work packages developed in her/his responsibility area and their status.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesNo disciplinary responsibilityJob ResponsibilitiesTechnical responsibility for Graphics domain within Harman BMW MGU projectsPlanning, controlling and monitoring of all tasks related to assigned domain and tracking of related work product integration (SW modules) into the overall projectLeading technically the team members assigned to the domainAnalysis and clarification of requirements, interfaces, architecture, timeline, etc. related to assigned domain with the customer twin, the impacted Harman domains and suppliers on technical level (e.g. workshops, regular communication meetings)Support of the project leads in regards to evaluation of requirements and change requestsStatus reporting towards SW project lead and managementProblem/issue ticket management related to assigned domainSupport for proof-of-concept activities if neededEnsuring compliance to Harman internal and SW engineering processes required by the customer (e.g. Automotive SPICE) and methods (e.g. SAFe)Basic QualificationsUniversity degree (MSc/BSc)Track record with minimum 5 years of experience in embedded systems, preferably in automotiveVery good knowledge in automotive System-/SW EngineeringAnalytical skills and good system understanding in the embedded SW areaExperience in technical coordination of engineering teamsExcellent communication and technical presentation skillsExperience in working with (external) customers/OEMsSelf-driven, autonomous and systematic way of working and able to help others achieve thisGood English language skills, German language skills are an advantagePreferred QualificationsKnowledge of Infotainment systems and experience in working inside Automotive projectsGood presentation skillsGood understanding and working skills in C/C++, Linux, AUTOSAR, SW architecture (UML), MS Office tools, JIRA, Confluence, ALM, DOORSKnowledge of video display drivers and controllers is an advantageKnowledge of SW development processes (e.g. V-Model, ASPICE, etc.)Knowledge of agile methods and frameworks (SAFe) is an advantageEligibility RequirementsWillingness to travel (0-20% of time) depending on the project necessities
