** This is for a brand new location opening in the Georgetown M Street area** Position: Game Guide Pay: $11-$12. Depending on Experience in the Hospitality industry. Position Description: Through empathy and expertise, our Game Guides create epic experiences based on each guest’s individual needs and wants. How Game Guides Serve Our Guests and Our Team: Enthusiastically interacting with every single guest Leading groups of 2-12 guests in upbeat, friendly conversation Collecting information and making meaningful connections with our guests Passionately explaining TEG and the rules of the adventure Closely monitor experiences and use Game Guide software to give teams clues and hints Giving a recap of memorable moments at the end of experiences Occasionally host experiences remotely while upholding epic standards, may lead events with up to 300+ participants Charismatically engage virtual teams and enthusiastically explain the structure of the virtual adventure Efficiently troubleshooting tech problems as they occur Demonstrating operational excellence by: Ensuring game components function properly Using setup sheets to accurately reset games Cleaning games and the building Restocking inventory Completing necessary reports Immediately and graciously resolving service failures Job Requirements: Must be great in front of groups and quick on their feet Flexible availability. This role often works nights, weekends, and/or holidays. Weekly available hours will vary based on events booked. Must have a computer with video call capabilities and a webcam Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Genuine love for serving others Flexibility, accountability, and teachability Quick and effective decision-making abilities Creative problem solving Basic computer skills
