Job Description In this internship you will learn and contribute to: • Import & Export compliance management driving site customs standard operating procedures • Manage and maintain special customs regimes (Bonded Warehouse, End User Quota, Temporary Imports, Inward Processing Relief) • Analyze and determine eligibility for certifications under Free Trade Agreements and Trade Preference Programs for imported goods Responsibilities: • Ensure proper management of temporary entry/exit customs operations • Maintain audit ready documentation to support the Commodity Codes, customs regimes, preferential treatment assigned • Perform data reports related to customs duty spent and other metric reports as requested by supervisor/manager. " • Act as key interface with International Sites/Persons, vendor- and suppliers sites to ensure Imports comply with EU Customs laws and regulations; • Act as EU Customs knowledge resource; • Ensure a Commodity codes classification database is established for imports into EU sites;" We need: • Proficiency in English is mandatory • Bachelor/Master degree We value: • Skilled in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) highly beneficial • Diplomatic behaviour • Flexible outlook • Capable of planning and managing own work. • Flexible and creative approach to problems, open minded. • Team work, good people relationship. • Must be self-motivated, goal oriented, and able to work independently in producing results
