General Management - COMMUNICATION MEDIA AND PUBLISHING in Bucuresti

This role is responsible for establishing the technical vision and leads all aspects of the company’s technological development within the Bucharest Engineering Center of Execution (COEX). This includes technology consulting, digital development, marketing automation platforms, marketing technology strategy and the internal technology and tools team. This role reports directly to the Global COEX Direction and will be the lead, single point of contact for all technical delivery to the right standards, quality, and in line with client needs. Responsibilities:•Lead the Bucharest team in the successful execution and delivery of technology projects of all sizes, with a focus on personal accountability for the work being done.•Act as key liaison to the global Adobe and Salesforce COE leads as well as the Global CTO. •Develop and drive a vision and strategy based on key corporate business priorities and financial goals, as well as office priorities and needs. Use that vision and strategy to create professional and financial goals for the local management team and push wider concepts to the team at large to help them understand the direction and ensure success.•Direct the Engineering Center's technical strategic direction, development and future growth.•Contribute to the strategic technology solution approach for major clients and new business opportunities together with COE leads as needed. •Drive the culture of innovation across the agency, and in collaboration with other network offices.•Stay on top of technology roadmap features and functions across the major platforms, ensuring the Engineering Centre qualifications, certifications and capabilities are in line with predictable delivery needs. •Provide leadership to Engineering Center department heads in a fashion that supports the company’s culture, mission, and values.•Take a leadership position in new digital product development, large initiative planning, and ideation and planning resources and technology needs.•Work closely with the COE (center of excellence) and COEX executive leadership teams to develop & execute business plans and define the ongoing technology requirements.•Develop a systematic & scalable approach for identifying and evaluating innovative and enabling technologies in line with COE priorities•Establish, communicate, and monitor best practices for the Engineering Center to ensure delivery excellence. Aggregate data from Operations Leads for Managerial review and evaluation.•Review SOW’s related to Technology projects with Project Managers and Operations Leads to ensure they are accurate prior to submission to the CFO.•Act as final sign off for all technical solution choices and gain agreement from COEs.Requirements:•BS in related field and at least 15 years of work experience in the Information Technology arena, at least 10 years management and strategic experience in this field or MBA/MS in related field with 10 years of work experience, 7 of which must be managerial and strategic.•Experience in AEM, Marketo, and Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform development and delivery is required.•Experience in managing the technical operations of an engineering center.•Experience working within a global network, across different locations.•Digital agency experience is desired.•Ability to actively communicate, inspire and motivate all levels of staff.•Ability to think and act strategically and proactively.•Strong English writing and presentation skills
