Your tasks:Global purchasing activities for Logistics segmentCreation, follow-up and evaluation of national and global tenders after coordination with the responsible departments, locations and project teamsEvaluation and analysis of offersConducting negotiations and nominations of suppliersBalance both tactical executions with strategic initiatives necessary to drive cost reduction projectsFinal negotiation for global contractsContinuous development of savings potentials and procurement strategies for the segments in responsibilityEscalation Management: Supporting global locations for procurement issuesDevelop and administrate the supplier pool for current and future business Your strengths: University degree in Economics or Technical fieldProfessional experience in Purchasing and/ or Technical fieldTechnical knowledge of component manufacturing and assembly processesExperience in dealing with suppliersAbility to work in interdisciplinary teamsVery good English knowledge, German is a plusGood knowledge of PC’s Excel databaseAnalytical and structured way of workingGood communication skills and assertiveness in negotiationsResilient, self-initiative & loyal
