We are looking for a New College Graduate (NCG) to be part of our Enterprise Software R&D team to
work on the development of CAD tools to aid IC design. In this role, you will apply your skills for the
development, deployment and support of software tools, techniques and methods to enable and
improve the productivity of the IC designers and chip architects across ADI. An ideal candidate will be
self-driven, passionate about IC design and Software development and willing to work and collaborate
with our internal customers and fellow developers.
Responsibilities:
Contribute to the development of high-quality software product suite for IC Register map
specifications, Register verification and automated view and code generations for IC design
implementation
Implement new features, improve existing features of the software in C++, Qt, Python, Perl etc.
Develop prototypes, validate new ideas, and enhance automated build routines to deliver bestin
class Register/Memory Map Specification S/W and ensure the success of internal customers
Assist with other software projects in the area of Circuit Simulation, and Graphical User
Interface (GUI) tools like waveform viewer and timing diagram generators
Requirements:
BSEE/MSEE Or MS in Computer Science with a Bachelors in Electrical/Electronics Engineering
Demonstrable ability in Scripting (Perl/Python) and S/W development using at-least one Object
Oriented Language (C++, Java etc.)
Understanding of the digital design (RTL, Verilog, SystemVerilog) and implementation (RTL-to-
GDSII flow) is a huge plus
Excellent written and verbal communication to propose new ideas and to champion bestpractice
methodologies
