Head of Plant Purchasing in Ghimbav

Our Purchasing Department in Brasov is looking for a leader! In this role, you will: Ensure flawless execution during series production;Drive escalation management of major supplier quality problems, supplier interruptions and supplier commercial issues;Ensure ramp up of new products;Ensure high performance production and supply chain processes by controlling the target achievement for the plant;Defines together with Category Management which tasks of CM shall be taken over by Plant Purchasing ( annual price negotiations, contract management, ect.);Ensure proper information exchange to/from suppliers in case of change requests;Negotiate changes with suppliers in alignment with category management; Support of category management;Define the work content of employees in own department;Coach the  team members in order to obtain expected work results;Establish a management system to ensure the stability of operations;Develop strategies for optimization of operation effort / costs;Optimize the processes to improve the product quality;Implement initiatives to deliver the right quality in the right time to the calculated costs. What will you need to succeed:Bachelor degree or master degree or similar in Economics/Technical studies or relevant;Experience in automotive business (approx. 2 years) and understanding of automotive environment;Cross functional experience;At least 3 years in a leadership position, preferably in operational units with functional and disciplinary responsibility for other individuals;English language proficiency. What we offer:Integration program in a professional and dynamic team;Competitive salaries (based on performance) & benefits;Health and wellness (Private health insurance, Life insurance, sport activities);Professional development opportunities (in technical and managerial area);Stability;International work environment & traveling opportuni
