HR Manager in Alexandria

Job Summary/Company:Sparks Group has partnered with a growing manufacturing and technology company that is seeking a proactive, polished, and experienced Human Resource Manager to lead their HR functions. Candidates should be able to provide all aspects of HR support to employees and managers and be able to develop and recommend the best practice for growing the company. Responsibilities: Manage and implement benefit plans in compliance with federal and state law. Oversee benefit expenditures including reconciliation of enrollment/invoices, and identifying trends in claims, vendor service levels and employee satisfaction. Investigate accidents and prepares reports Maintain positive and effective relationships with employees and leadership teams Process requests and investigate employment law issues to include FMLA/WC/ADA, FLSA, OSHA, COBRA, ERISA. Organize and conduct all new employee orientations Plan employee appreciation and recognition events Qualifications/Background Profile: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred. SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR or SPHR preferred. 5 years of progressively responsible experience in Human Resources – benefits administration and employee relations. 3 years experiences in a managerial role ADP Workforce Now experiences preferred.
