May have P&L responsibility for the department.What a typical day looks like:Import Compliance• Maintain accurate Import Compliance within the site for all inbound international shipments• May code international freight invoices for inbound shipments, as well as domestic truck load shipments to individual departments within the site.• May distribute routing guide to Purchasing, Shipping and various other departments• Communicate with Purchasing and Manufacturing departments for support in part clarification• Perform regular audits as deemed mandatory by Corporate Flextronics with several departments to identify, disclose and work to fix any potential Import Compliance concerns• Ensure US customs guidelines are followed by vendors, purchasing, broker, site logistics and other responsible parties• Audit import documents for international shipments cleared through US customs• Maintain and update part number database with most up to date HTS, COO and OGA informationExport Compliance• Track international shipments and may track domestic shipments• Arrange expedited shipments by request to meet customer needs• May research freight issues• Track in trace any international or domestic shipmentThe experience we’re looking to add to our team,• 3+ years of experience in a similar position• Familiarity with CBP ACE systems for import compliance.• HTS• Process export shipments and have knowledge of ECCN, license, and DPS.Here are a few of our preferred experiences:• Microsoft Office proficiency• Advanced Excel skill levelWhat you’ll receive for the great work you provide:• Full range of medical benefits, dental, vision• Life Insurance• Matching 401K• PTO• Tuition Reimbursement• Employee discounts at local retailersPF38#LI-PF1Job CategoryGlobal Procurement & Supply ChainIs Sponsorship Available?NoFlex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
