We’re one global team – 47,000 strong – driven by a common purpose to deliver a better world.Here, you will have freedom to grow in a world of opportunity.Research and prepare Tax application forms, submitting applications to the Tax Authorities, as needed for the entities in scopeParticipate in the Indirect Tax Compliance close process and meet stringent deadlinesAssume an active role in researching issues, coordinating and communicating with cross-functional teams, and presenting recommendations to managementResearch tax clearance and tax refund requestsPrepare journal entries and related schedules for indirect tax specific general ledger accountsProactive identification of process improvement opportunitiesSolve problems while handling multiple assignmentsRespond to ad hoc JV tax requestsPrepare monthly indirect tax filings, including but not limited to Sales/Use Tax, Value Added Tax (VAT), Gross Receipts Tax, and Business & Occupation TaxMaintain Tax Calendar ensuring all tax due dates are met and updating metrics upon requestDegree holder or above in Accounting, Business, or TaxMinimum 2 years of accounting experience Excellent English (written & spoken)Ability to use the Microsoft Suite Programs, including an advanced knowledge of ExcelThorough knowledge of GAAP (generally accepted accounting principles)Exposure to Indirect Tax, especially US and Canada Indirect TaxExcellent communication skills in order to distil complex tax concepts into easily comprehensible subject matter for non-tax colleaguesUnderstanding of indirect tax researchAn ability to work with minimal supervision and across multiple regions and countriesExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate to all levels of the organizationMotivated, detail-oriented, and flexible.
