Overview The Agile Coach is a change agent with a passion for coaching who will embody the new culture and way of working. He/She will support Tribe Leaders, POs, Chapter Leads, SMs and Squad members to help build and reinforce these new behaviours and ways of working. They will embed Agile thinking and design principles in the day to day work of Squads, in order to create business and client value. He/She will utilise their expertise and leadership skills to support the PO, challenging their thinking to ensure that the optimal method is employed within the Tribe. They will cultivate the right environment, understand a range of methodologies and have the ability to balance client value and risk management to drive sustainable quality.ResponsibilitiesDrives the cultural change towards a new way of working: moving from an “organisation of talking” to an “organisation of doing”Supports the Scrum Master in planning, preparing and conducting the Squad ceremoniesSupports Product Owner, Scrum Master and Tribe Lead to live up to their target role profile; is often the primary Tribe Lead coach / supports operation of the TribeEnsures Squads Roadmaps, Backlogs and Stories are following Agile best practicesCollaborate with other Agile coaches to continuously improve processes and encourage collaboration among Tribes & SquadsConduct training sessions on topics such as Agile process, Stories, etc.Establishes and drives a culture of experimentation and continual learningHelps Tribe members to improve management capabilities such as negotiation, conflict management and stakeholder engagementEngage with stakeholders within DB WM to remove impedimentsFacilitate Big Room Planning & support Tribe Lead with QBR preparationHelp manage, escalate and track risks, impediments and dependenciesCompetencies & ExperienceExperience in actively supporting hands-on delivery in Agile programsEmbodies the new culture: shows courage, trusts people, speaks up, is creative and simplifiesPassionate about coaching and supporting people to adjust and embrace changesActively seeks feedback, and has the courage to give it in returnInvests in others, independent of their status, background or opinionIntellectually curious, loves learning new skills and capabilitiesComfortable challenging and advising senior leadership, in a way that encourages them to improve and embed new ways of workingEmotionally intelligent with strong people management skills: motivating, observing, coaching and mentoring of colleaguesCalm, confident , open-minded and collaborativeDeep background in coaching and developing people and Squads, in influencing behaviour change —a track record of cultural changeExpert in Agile/Systems Thinking/Service Design application and Scrum techniquesProven experience in designing and delivering formal and informal trainingExperience in financial services or large corporate environments Our values define the working environment we strive to create – diverse, supportive and welcoming of different views.
