Job DescriptionAssists with analyzing complex business problems to be solved with automated systems.As part of a software project implementation team, provides technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user needs. Configures system settings and options; plans and executes unit, integration and acceptance testing; and creates specifications for systems to meet business specifications. Designs details of automated systems. May provide consultation to users in the area of automated systems. May lead cross-functional linked teams to address business or systems issues.Job duties are varied and complex; independent judgment needed. May have project lead role. Prefer 5 years relevant experience and BA/BS degree.ResponsibilitiesYour Opportunity:This role provides an opportunity to bring together business acumen and technology experience to support the Global Insights tools team. We are looking for a self-starter, capable of working with a global network of leaders to assist with analyzing complex business problems to be solved with automated systems.Selected candidate will join as an individual contributor of the Global Insight tools team. The Global Insights tools team is a multi-disciplinary team of technologists, business analysts & consultants that work together to build value deliverables that support Oracle’s sales, BD & customer success staff.Your Responsibilities:As an IT Business Analyst in the Global Insight Tools team, your responsibilities include: Business Requirements Definition: Working with sales operations leadership to define the new tools, capabilities, automation required for a particular program Liaising with business users across sales, presales, marketing to capture expected requirements for future systems enhancement Writing example use cases, user journeys that illustrate the functionality to the prospective users and testers. Technical Liaison: Interface between business and development teams Build detailed business and technical requirements documents Create process flows for the business processes that integrate a number of applications Creating data mappings at the entity level and at the field level, including the operations that are needed to transform the input format to the target format Coordinate technical requirements across teams Release Planning Management: Capture and communicate key changes per release Manage UAT process for tool release updates Manage feedback and changes to release schedule Training development: Liaise with global Oracle training teams to develop, enhance and deliver value selling training to sales & BD teams and enhance global value tools adoption Work closely with product marketing, business development, solution architects and sales Your Qualifications: Exceptional business problem solving combined with strong analytical and interpersonal skills Outstanding oral and presentation communication skills Scrum/ Agile certification Project management experience / certification Your Experience: Experience of 4+ years as a business analyst, management consultant in a global organization Demonstrated ability to think strategically Strong problem solving and negotiation skills to earn trust and influence others Experience working with a geographically dispersed stakeholder based Experience in a B2B enterprise software company Awareness of value selling methodology Prior experience with enterprise technology in a sales / sales operations capacity The work hours are flexible.
