JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an experienced and motivated leader with a high degree of both IT HCM and HR Business acumen and have the ability to unite both domains. S/he is able to adopt a conceptual approach, language and agenda so that both the IT and HR domains can be fully knowledgeable and engaged in projects and activities.

The IT HCM Manager is responsible to drive and realize Carmeuse’s IT HCM vision & landscape for the future thanks to his/her strong organization skills, project management skills, and experience with change management. The IT HCM Manager is an individual who takes accountability to drive the IT HCM-HR business agenda forward with a passion for both tactical and strategic work, a clear focus for solutions and results, an ability to easily navigate through change & ambiguity, and making real team work excel.

YOUR CHALLENGE

  • Overall accountability for Human Capital Management system administration across a complex organization of multiple entities.
  • Technical Process Lead for all implementations and updates to the systems in the IT HCM landscape.
  • Accountable for all HCM modules to ensure a positive people experience:

o Talent Acquisition: Streamline recruiting process. Ensure applicants are progressing through the system. Monitor progress and hold hiring managers accountable to review applications. Ensure reports and dashboards are built for talent acquisition analytics.

o Onboarding: Streamline the onboarding process through workflows, use of electronic signatures on documents, and notifications.

o Core Payroll and Benefits: Build workflows and reports as needed to support payroll and benefit processes.

o Talent Performance Management: Streamline processes for quarterly conversions to enhance the manager-employee experience. Ensure reporting and dashboard building as needed.

o Compensation management: Support VP of HR in establishing workflow for annual compensation approval process, as well as complex incentive plans.

o Workforce Management: Partner with our response team to build workflows and processes for schedule management and other solutions provided in the module.

o Learning Management: Champion learning through the system. Ensure reporting and dashboard building as needed.

  • Drive Service Management and improvements with external Managed Services providers and internal stakeholders
  • Establish close communication and working relationships at all levels within the organization (IT & HR Senior Leadership, HR Business Process Leaders, HR Organizational Development team, Payroll, other IT teams and other end users).
  • Champion for the full adoption and utilization of all system modules throughout the organization and affiliated entities.
  • Drive engagement and use of the system.
  • Responsible for Project Management and organization of new implementations or continuous improvement projects.
  • Drive HR-IT HCM Governance processes (strategic and operational).

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE TO TAKE ON THIS CHALLENGE

Basic requirements (Education, Level of Experience, Language)

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management or related field required.
  • Five to ten years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Strong business acumen in both HR and IT HCM is required.
  • Practical experience working with financial concepts and banking processes, and manufacturing operations is an advantage.
  • Excellent proven People and Project Management skills.
  • Advanced experience with HCM/HRIS architecture required.
  • International working environment experience.
  • Fluent in English (written & spoken)
  • Open to travel (+/- 20%)

Needed Knowledge (Technical knowledge required for the position)

Conceptual knowledge of:

  • Oracle Cloud HCM Modules - Recruitment, Performance Management, Learning and/or Onboarding
  • SAP HCM - Organizational Management, Personnel Management, Payroll are a plus
  • Interface specification development, testing and maintenance
  • Automated data migration tools
