We’re a team of experts optimizing the performance and integrity of IT infrastructure and ensuring consistency and synchronization across all infrastructure components. Alongside supporting new and existing applications, we work with other IT groups and business units to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems. You will: Work in a small, fully-remote, multi-functional team that maintains the systems at the core of our business and designs solutions per business requirements. Researches and compares software and hardware features and works with vendors on system sizing for specific applications. Understand the full technology stack and how all the pieces fit together and be able to identify inefficient processes and procedures and introduce automation to improve. Ensure that the technical environment is properly maintained and correctly designed and identify performance issues and oversee the development and correct use of tools to resolve these problems. Lead the design of the computing infrastructure, working closely with architects on project design and technical direction and participating in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) requirements which include gathering, analysis, design and coding, testing, training, and operational support using agile methodologies. Install CMS, Translation and Quality instance core setup and configuration that meet the content teams’ requirements. Here’s what we are looking for with this role: Essential Requirements 5+ years of enterprise-scale technical experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, and technology management Ability to orchestrate, lead, and influence virtual teams, ensuring successful implementation of projects. Scripting Proficiency in PowerShell, Ruby, Python, Perl or other similar language. Driven towards automation, remove manual process bottlenecks to increase efficiency. Practical experience with containerization and orchestration (e.g. Kubernetes) and experience with configuration management (e.g. Puppet, Ansible) and infrastructure-as-code Desirable Requirements Strong knowledge of general IT technology such as networking, OS Administration, and scripting Driven towards automation, remove manual process bottlenecks to increase efficiency.
