IT USER & SITE SUPPORT SPECIALIST
You will be part of the Saint-Gobain Romania and Bulgaria Technical Support Team, your role being to offer support and maintaining the entire IT infrastructure in all Gypsum Turda locations, based on the latest corporate IT technologies.
Your role will be :
- To provide user support hardware/software for requests open in our ticket systems;
- To configure/manage user accounts, servers, computers and user access in Information Systems;
- To ensures the proper functioning of the information systems and priorities the critical systems;
- To diagnose and solve problems of servers, computers, printers, network;
- To cooperate with IT Global Teams for projects and diagnose/correct issues of Information System;
- To held responsible of system backups;
- To conducT performance analysis and tuning for servers and computers;
- To keep in touch with IT providers hardware/software/services in order to maintain IT infrastructure;
- To provide support for IT projects;
In order to perform your role, you need to have:
- A college degree Computer Science/IT related;
- Minimum 2 years experience in Information System Technologies on similar position;
- Advanced knowledge and troubleshooting skills of Windows Servers 2012/2016, Windows Services, Active Directory and associated technologies;
- Advanced knowledge and troubleshooting skills of Windows 10, Microsoft Office 2016;
- Troubleshooting skills for IT infrastructure (servers, computers, networking, printers) and business application;
- Basic knowledge of networking (cabling, LAN, WAN, VLAN, network equipment (switches, routers));
- Good knowledge and experience working with vSphere/VMware technologies is an advantage;
- Good knowledge of Linux systems is an advantage;
- Good knowledge of networking is an advantage;
- Fluent in English both spoken and written;
- Team player with good communication skills;
