The team is responsible for the development of a model driven, highly scalable, high performance, data storage and event processing framework. The team is agile, global and diverse. The current focus is undertaking a multi-year initiative to re-engineer the trade lifecycle management, valuations, and control functions.  Your main responsibilities: Design smart solutions leveraging on the latest techs!Participate in the full software development lifecycle for microservice architecture, hands on with a subset of: Java, SQL, NoSQL, RESTful web services, Kafka, MongoDB, Aerospike, JMS messaging, Elasticsearch and Big Data solutionsContribute to the development of distributed, scalable systems with different focus:Either high-volume, low-latency storage & event processing platform for supporting firm’s middle/back-office functions;Or close to the business, front-office management and valuations system that currently goes through a full re-engineering effort into service orientated architecture, posing a greenfield development opportunity;Design, develop, peer-review, test and deliver cutting-edge, highly performant and resilient technical solutionsMeet evolving business demands and solve challenging technical problemsForm strong client relationships with business, and other technology groups locally, and in multiple regionsWork with mission critical platformsSupport or replace existing critical applications with the best in class softwareYou are an ideal candidate if you have:At least 6 years of commerical experience in a similar rolePast experience in working within a complex technical environmentSolid knowledge of Java11, Spring, Spring Boot, JUnitExcellent communication skillsFluent EnglishIt is a strong plus if you have:Cloud and ContainersElasticSearch and KibanaNoSQL (MongoDB, Aerospike)Kafka, Kafka Streams, ksqlDBAbility to translate verbal business requirements to written technical specificationsWe offer you:ITDS Business Consultants is involved in many various, innovative and professional IT projects for international companies in the financial industry in Europe.
