Tgs Romania is looking to hire in Bucharest Junior Audit Associates able to provide high quality services against the firm & clients’ expectation while ensuring compliance to related audit & accounting regulations and internal procedures and interacting with respect towards client’s employees.JOB REQUIREMENTS & COMPETENCIES• Undergraduate & graduate degree preferably in economics with a further preference for accounting & finance• Good knowledge of the English language• Computer literate : MS Office package with a focus on Excel• Basic accounting knowledge would be a plus• Availability to travel when required by the assignment• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills• Positive client relationship oriented• Team orientedKEY RESPONSIBILITIES• Perform any audit procedures as indicated by the senior and based on his/her guidance and supervision & review• Special focus is expected on the following:performing test of controls for routine transactionsattend stock takesaudit Cash and Bankaudit Fixed Assets – basic testing – exclude tax related issues & translation to other GAAPcompliance & Transaction Tests – especially for P&L testing – substantive approachbasic analytical review procedures for P&Lcut off acquisitions including search for unrecorded liabilities tests and goods acquisitions cut offcut off salesVAT processing information / table & interpret it with senior supportsalary processing information / table & interpret it with senior supportdealing with client staff below Chief Accountant or equivalentdraw conclusions on own tests performed and be able to propose points for inclusion in management letterhelping colleagues with less experience
