Entry-level consulting position for those who are new to professional services and are developing their expertise in Communications industry application project delivery. Receives coaching & instruction on new projects or assignments. As a member of a project team, follows standard practices to analyse requirements and delivers functional and technical solutions using applications and technology. Work involves problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying relevant Oracle methodologies and practices. Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.
Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred. Demonstrates competence in problem analysis and solution implementation with expertise in one or more key technology areas. You have an interest in developing your consulting skills in the Communications industry.
Technical skills
Hands on experience on any Unix/Linux OS
Experience using any of the RDBMS, PL/SQL.
Good understanding of Rest API, SOAP, Webservices
Hands on experience in C (pointers, macros, thread management, functions)
Object oriented programming concepts and knowledge of an OOP language (C++ or Java)
Working knowledge of one of the scripting languages – shell, perl, python etc.
Experience working with any one source code management system CVS, VSS, SVN, GIT etc.
Understanding of Cloud Native concepts
Understanding of waterfall vs Agile/Scrum or iterative model projects, flexibility to work in DevOps environment
Communications Industry Application skills
6 months telecoms industry preferable
Any development or configuration experience in telecoms billing/charging application domain (e.g. Oracle Billing & Revenue Management – BRM)

1-3 years of overall experience in relevant functional or technical roles. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Demonstrates competence in a minimum of one product or technology area. Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.
