Job DescriptionThis role is an exciting career opportunity for those of you who would like to further develop your continuous improvement and knowledge management skills. As Knowledge Management & Continuous Improvement Specialist, you will assist the Reporting and Process Excellence Lead with the implementation and development of the Knowledge Management Strategy, assisting with the trainings across the SNC-Lavalin Finance Shared Services Centre (FSSC) and actively participate in the development of the global and local Continuous Improvement framework.Your main responsibility will be to promote and facilitate the growth of continuous improvement practice and culture across the Finance functions by working with a diverse group of professionals. You will coach, train, and mentor staff in utilizing LEAN and other improvement frameworks, concepts, and tools to achieve measurable results. You will be playing a key role in integrating continuous improvement principles into business practices and serving as a continuous improvement champion promoting organizational excellence and change.ResponsibilitiesProvide support in the development of the Continuous Improvement strategy by promoting continuous improvement thinking, concepts, behaviors and tools.Develop and sustain a community of practice in support of continuous improvement efforts.Engage stakeholders utilizing organizational change management to promote continuous improvement in business practices and support cultural change.Establish partnerships across organization to promote the adoption of continuous improvement practices.Foster trust and facilitate an open exchange of ideas, encourage and promote innovative approaches and solutions.Develop and maintain reports and indicators to evaluate performance, demonstrate achieved efficiencies and impact of process and program changes on operational and strategic objectivesCoach and train employees in LEAN and other CI methods to improve business processes and management systems.Support peers in designing and implementing effective and engaging learning activities in collaboration with the FSSC Team Leads, Business Process Analysts, and implement appropriate and effective knowledge capture and sharing activities.Manage and implement content strategies to ensure that the right knowledge is getting to the right people at the right time (and in the right way), including the training program for new employees.Think “outside the box” – identify and share a more creative, efficient, and effective way to engage audiences and facilitate sharing and collaboration.Ensure that quality work is delivered on time.Perform ad-hoc requests indicated by the Reporting and Process Excellence LeadRequirementsBachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or other relevant fields.2+ years of experience in knowledge management, organizational learning, learning and development, continuous improvementExcellent written and spoken communication skills in English (French is a plus) Demonstrated understanding of knowledge management principles and capacity to deliver knowledge management and/ or organizational learning activitiesDemonstrated experience in coaching teams or facilitating continuous improvement activities to achieve measurable results, provide analysis, research and recommendations, planning and implementation of improvement projects.Capabilities and qualificationsExcellent facilitation, program/ activity management, and written and oral communication skillsCreative problem-solving and ability to work under tight deadlinesTeam player with a positive attitudeAble to efficiently manage time, set priorities, and complete multiple tasks simultaneouslyWork experience in a shared services, process-driven, or service center environment is a plusPassionate about personal and professional developmentCertification and/ or training in Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, Organizational Change Management, or other continuous improvement methodologies is highly desirableOur offer towards work-life balanceRemote workDirect contract with SNC-LavalinMotivational financial package & flexible benefitsEaster and Christmas bonusesPerformance bonusFree French language classesEmployees Wellness ProgramAdditional paid sick days per year without requiring a medical certificateLearning and Development programs, Career opportunitiesOpen and dynamic work environmentFlexible working schedule– 9:00-18:00, 10:00-19:00Worker TypeEmployeeJob TypeRegularSNC-Lavalin cares about your privacy.
