The PLA assignment is, besides leading and securing the legal operations, all about identifying efficiencies and synergies to enable business growth and secure partnership between the different Supply Business Units.PLA South operates offices in Milano, Bucharest, Istanbul and Karachi and geographically covers total South Europe and the Middle East. PLA South is supporting 200 suppliers and has in total approx. 400 co-workers.Job descriptionIKEA Components task is to create optimal prerequisites for the IKEA Suppliers (Component Buyers) purchase of fittings and components regarding quality, availability, price and environment. But that is not all, we are currently growing. By taking over the responsibility for IKEA retail equipment we are on a journey towards taking our assignment to the next step, creating a new IKEA business that is even more affordable, accessible and sustainable. The retail equipment range is an important part of the IKEA identity. It supports presenting, selling and handling of the IKEA product range, strengthens the IKEA Brand and helps visitors enjoy the full IKEA experience.This is where you come in!We are now opening an amazing opportunity for you to join us, as Market Planner, in our Bucharest office.Please note that this is a 1 year time limited contract.The Market Planner is the link between IKEA Components and the Component Buyer on planning and logistic issues. The Market Planner ensures that the agreed business setups are followed, updated and improved to secure the highest level of product availability for IKEA's customers with the lowest total Supply Chain cost. A Market Planner works in close co-operation with the Market Developer and the Market Operator in IKEA Components as well as  with our Purchasing teams and the Component Buyers.About responsibilities Responsible to collect and analyze forecasts from Component Buyer within given business area,Responsible for Component Buyer satisfaction within given business area,Actively work with Component Buyer - handling forecast & deviations,Actively support Market Developer and continuously improve our offer,Support the process of new articles, as well as phase out of items,Being a natural back-up for related Market Developer when needed.The job involves up to 30% of travelling per year and requires a clean driving license.QualificationTo be able to succeed in the role you should have relevant supply and demand competence, but your personality and mindset is at least as important as your previous experience.We believe you are enthusiastic, driven, structured and determined, and act as a role model for the IKEA values. You are self-going and dare to take decisions. You have excellent communication skills and the ability to build trustful relationships.
