JOB DESCRIPTION Job Description SummaryIn this role, you will work closely with customers to elicit and document requirements during the early stages of a project, identify solutions to customer business needs and lead the implementation of Manufacturing Execution Systems and Analytics on top of the GE Digital Product Portfolio. You will act as Product Owner and build customer relationships. You will act as the technical coordinator of the project team, providing your contribution in the design of the solution, the project execution, the on-site installation, and handover to key users.Job DescriptionResponsibilitiesElicit and document requirements through UMLAct as Product OwnerLead design & build of the solutionUse your knowledge of production processes and manufacturing execution systems to identify solutions to customer business needs and achieve the expected business outcomesDesign and implement solutions relying on GE Digital Product PortfolioCoordinate implementation activities and cooperate closely with the Project Manager to ensure that project is healthy in terms of cost, quality, schedule and customer satisfaction.Work in team with other departments of the company (Sales, Product Management, Partner Management, etc.) and encourage exchange of project and product related information to maximize the outcome for our customersIdentify the project methodology (Agile, Waterfall or others) that best fits with the project needs and adopt it throughout the whole projectAct as a mentor for other members of the GE project teamRequirementsBachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experienceIn depth knowledge of production processes and industry best practices8y+ experience in Manufacturing Execution Systems as Technical Leader or Product OwnerSkills in business analysis, solution design, and implementation methodology (Agile and Waterfall)Experience in requirements elicitation through UML, knowledge of business processes, use cases and RTMExperience in software development with Microsoft Visual Studio / Visual Studio Core and other Development tools.8y+ experience in C# programming and SQL databases and SOA technologiesStrong experience with HTML5, TypeScript, AngularJSStrong experience in Test Driven DevelopmentStrong knowledge of CI/CD with tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, AWS Code DeployWillingness to learn new software development practices, languages, and toolsAdvanced spoken and written English language skillsAbility to work remotely and actively manage several concurrent customer engagementsAbility and willingness to travel to customer sitesDesired CharacteristicsStrong experience in performances optimization, such as SQL performance analyzer and object execution statisticsExperience with GE Digital’s Manufacturing Executions SystemCertification in Agile CSPO or IIBAExperience with Sparx Enterprise Architect or Visio UMLExperience in UI and UX, mockups with tools through Balsamiq or other similar toolsKnowledge of IoT Applications on a Cloud PlatformExperience in cloud technologies and usage of Azure or AWSStrong knowledge of JIRA and Azure DevopsExperience with TDD, BDD, Selenium, NUnit, SpecFlow (or other test driven tools)Creative problem-solving abilities (Design Thinking)Strong communication, presentation and facilitation skillsAdditional language skills (French, German, etc.)Business Acumen:Anticipates potential risks and obstacles and resolves proactively in order to ensure smooth project deliveryEstablishes strong relationships with key stakeholders and other leaders at multiple levels within customer organization.Plans and facilitates collaborative discussions with client and others within GE to identity and prioritize client's overall business needsPersonal Attributes:Engages with product related problems in a disciplined and rigorous manner.Persists on completion of endeavorsMotivate self for results and others through team spirit.Maintain & continuously update technical skills and knowledgeEligibility Requirements:Legal authorization to work in Europe & UK is required.
