As a Software Developer you design, code and qualify safe software components according to a functional specification for our safety-critical track-side products/product lines for the European Train Control System (ETCS).

• Object oriented design and implementation according requirements- and interface specification considering UNISIG (ETCS) and CENELEC standards
• Review of technical documentation (Requirement specifications, test specifications, etc.)
• Creation and maintenance of automated unit tests
• Requirements tracing between code and functional specifications
• Defect analysis and correction

As Requirements Engineer you will design and specify solutions for our track-side products/product lines for the European Train Control System (ETCS)/ European Rail Traffic Management System (ERTMS).

• Creation of requirement specifications for ETCS RBC (Radio Block Center) and associated components / products
• Analyses of customer requirements and developing solutions
• Development of interface specifications and architecture documents
• Creation of project-specific documents (e.g. traceability to customer and UNISIG specifications, safety implementation proof)
• Review of technical documents (e.g. RBC specification documents, test specifications)
• Performing error analyses and corrections
• Product line management: feature modeling taking into account current and future customer requirements
