Job Description
Microchip Technology Inc is seeking a Client Development Specialist for virtual lead development and account
management.
Job Responsibilities:
Ability to research, analyze and qualify sales leads from various sources
Ability to create valid business reasons to engage with new sales leads in early sales funnel stages
Ability to fearlessly approach engagement with new “potential” clients over phone, email or web
conferencing
Ability to collaborate with corporate divisions in Chandler, AZ to move clients from early sales funnel
stages via phone calls, emails, web conferencing and engage field sales team when needed.
Ability to think differently, communicate and collaborate
Ability to reprioritize with little notice
Some knowledge of semiconductor business segments, i.e. wireless, touch and security applications
Ability to use creative approaches for new client engagements and problem-solving activities
Ability to manage and grow small to medium client accounts
Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business or Communications
Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office- Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint
Ability to work with Microchip global sales team and clients on a virtual basis
Keen attention to detail and organization
Professional and dependable
Familiarity with virtual marketing platforms such as:
Salesforce, CRM or Equivalent
