Job RequirementsArcadis Gen’s Product & Technology domain is developing an integrated suite of modules to enable Programme, Project and Cost Management as part of the asset lifecycle.The modules target mobile and desktop users, built using a combination of MS SQL, .Net C#, OutSystems and other technologies. They integrate with each other and third-party tools, enabling rapid delivery of solutions by combining the various modules in new and innovative ways.We are looking for software developers to join the agile technical team to build these modules. The agile team is encouraged to grow their skills and work across all aspects of the solution, building their skills and driving us into new solution areas.Responsibilities:Provide high quality code: The role is predominantly about the production of code, which is expected to be high quality and match the project standards.Perform unit and e2e testing: All user stories require automated unit and integration tests as part of the definition of done. The developer is expected to design and write tests to provide correct coverage of their code in conjunction with our test engineers.Story estimation: Adding storypoint estimates against configuration activities (user stories, features or improvements) and ensuring the assigned storypoints are delivered according to the Sprint schedule.Collaboration: The developer will work closely with product owners and architecture owners to refine user stories, provide technical designs and implement desired functionalities. The developer is expected to share knowledge where possible to benefit the team as a whole, and grow their skills as individuals. Feature demonstrations may also be required during sprint reviews.Work ExperienceThe ideal candidate has a strong technical background with good problem-solving skills. They have knowledge of REST architecture and strong experience with C#. They will preferably have worked with Azure DevOps in an Agile environment. Experience of other code stacks and tooling is advantage to ease interactions with other development teams.What is essential is that the candidate is flexible and keen to learn new technologies, with a drive to increase the skills and capabilities across the team.The candidate is a self-starter who takes responsibility for delivering assigned work on time.
