Position Description: CGI, a leader in providing IT and Business Processing Outsourcing Services, is looking for a highly-motivated professional .Net Developer to become a part of a dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to augment your current skills, as well as learn new technologies within retail industry. Your future duties and responsibilities: •Write clean, scalable code using .Net Core with a sharp eye for spotting defects.•Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture.•Test and deploy applications and systems.•Revise, debug and refactor code to improve existing software. Required qualifications to be successful in this role: •BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field or equivalent experience.•3+ years proven experience as a .NET Developer.• Familiarity with .Net Core (latest version).•Experience communicating and interacting with other services or applications using a large set of protocols and formats.•Agile methodology, using task estimation.•Good analysis skills and experience with understanding both business logic and complex data transformation flows. •Good level of communication expected. Other tools or methodologies used:•Rest API/Open API (Swagger),•SQLite,•Unit testing,•Tooling: Sonar Cube, Nexus, Gitlab, Jenkins.
