New Product Introduction Buyer - Aftermarket in Bucuresti

Job Description Within our Aftermarket Procurement team we are looking for a talented NPI Buyer to work along our skillful team on supporting our Performance, No Source and All Makes Project Development. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Negotiate price for new components (NPI) Interface with commodity managers to identify potential suppliers and commence supplier selection process and audits as appropriate Conduct RFQ with panel supplier Promote the principle of concurrent engineering, by organizing, and leading drawing early supplier selection, APQP closure, and Co-Design/ Design to Cost approach Conduct evaluation of supplier proposals and put forward recommendations that achieve project expectations Ensure flawless launch on designated NPI projects, including SA extension with its analysis Ensure best cost by organizing e-auction and robust negotiations Align with Should cost team in order to have the best price for new components Organize and Lead Sourcing Committee activity Achievement of cost, PPAP Approval and SOP targets Ensuring early production suppliers nomination and Concurrent Engineering deployment Launch specific tooling at awarded suppliers Consolidate budget for all external investments including development/tooling etc for all new components within the project Place tooling PO at the suppliers Track the development of the specific tools Launch specific batches for homologation as per automotive standards Issue PO’s for ODT and PPAP/Early Schedule Agreement Track the deliveries on time as per project milestones Ensure the needed quality documentation is ready at the requested dates YOU MUST HAVE Bachelor degree Procurement / Logistic experience Experience in a global environment Experience in managing projects Advanced English Good negotiation, communication and project management WE VALUE Bachelor degree technical/economics SAP/ or other ERP system Experience with QS/ISO TS Customer oriented Excel proficiency Technical knowledge/understanding Assertive, decided, motivated and enthusiastic Must have the desire to continuous grow Good team player Must be able to work and perform under stress Capable to work with tight deadlines
