Your tasks: Managing supplier relations, extending the portfolio and setting targets for new business development Achieving annual sales targets focusing on net profit Implementing strategies for profitable sales growth and ensuring customers understand company’s payment and stock policies Managing and developing customers both commercially and technically through regular contact Providing technical and commercial support to customers Creating detailed market overview and customer database Visiting customers regularly including accurate and visible reporting on all sales activities in the customer management system Identifying new and promising raw materials and product applications Developing and achieving sales pipeline Monitoring market developments To bring fresh perspectives and constantly questioning the status-quo, you contribute to creating and exploring new business opportunities in paint, coatings, construction and related business Your profile: At least 5 years’ experience in selling of raw materials Academic certification as a chemical engineer or commercial education with technical capabilities Fluency in both written and spoken English Good communication skills and the ability to negotiate prices, contracts and take decisions Ability to travel regularly within principle market areas Excellent customer experience acumen are vital for this role The ideal person will have a track record of driving business growth, someone with great commercial acumen and of a strong intellect Our offer: An interesting variety of tasks to take on in a successful and committed team Ample room for personal development Career-focused further education and training To be part of a diverse team with vast knowledge and experience in its particular field Nordmann is a leading international chemical distribution company.
