OCS Engineer in Bucuresti

Role ProfileDesign, Drive and Deliver the Convergent Charging Service (CCS) on Cloud Transformation program in Romania, leading CCS to a Cloud, 5G ready system. Design and Engineer the solution based on Cloud technologies, such as Containers, Open Source components (Graphana, Kibana), CI/CD (Jenkins, JMeter). Design and Engineer the software for complying with state of the art Cyber Security guidelines and requirements Design and Integrate the new 5G Core with CCS for developing innovative monetization streams. Drive as Techinical Project Manager the delivery projects ensuring a proper coordination of all involved domains (e.g. Infrastructure, Core Network, Operating Support Systems, Provisioning) Analyze, together with the business demand areas, the needs, requirements and expectations for the definition and implementation of the different functionalities of the CCS projects and configurations. Define, implement and control the capacity planning for CCS applications based on traffic needs Grant the quality and acceptance process to ensure the appropriate quality in the delivery phase, delivering high quality products and solutions Execute budget corresponding to the CCS transformation and BaU activities. Main Activity Design, Drive and Deliver the Convergent Charging Service (CCS) Design and Implement Capacity Planning for CCS Lead assigned projects coordinating the involved Technology Providers (aka Vendors) Define and Structure business requirement in coordination with Business Unit following SAFe / Agile approach. Core Competencies We are looking for someone with hands-on technical experience and that proactively enjoys it Knowledge of telecoms technologies – know how of OCS Engineering, Core Network, Value Added Services is appreciated) Knowledge in deployment in virtual environment based on microservices / Kubernets – know how on VMWare TANZU is appreciated Knowledge of interfaces such as SOAP, Diameter, Restful API appreciated Appreciated knowledge in Integration of OCS in the E2E IT Architecture for all Privisioning, Charging, Billing and Reporting flows BSc and/or MSc Degree in Computer Science or equivalent English language is mandatory Flexibility and positive attitude towards change.
