Working with the CEEMEA research team and offering support to all CEEMEA & pay TV departments for all the countries for Discovery portfolio. This entry-level position that has to support the teams with data management and data analysis services, including portfolio performance and competitor information (running regular analysis, searching for information, providing translations etc.), to provide insightful information on the local markets and trends. The Research Trainee will use consumer insights and timely reports in all goals and needs.
Responsibilities Contributor to the research function under the Research Manager coordination – able to takeover regular & ad-hoc responsibilities at request Implement all CEEMEA research efforts under the research team coordination (including quantitative/ qualitative studies) Work closely with the other members of the Research team to help support and share research projects and findings; support all the efforts & goals by fully exploiting tools Running data from our main research tools (Techedge, Instar Analytics etc.) Takeover all the research rating regular reports & other regular standard activities and share it to the stakeholders Offer local market knowledge by mapping the relevant sources Offer support for all needs of the company, research team, all local and regional teams (Pay TV team, affiliate/ distribution, ad sales and marketing & PR teams across all the territories) Offer translation support when necessary inside the company Ensure that all research is best practice with quality and objectivity across all output Expand knowledge
Requirements Graduate or student in marketing, sociology, social sciences English fluency. Hungarian or Turkish would be an advantage Presentation & communication skills Very good knowledge of excel & PowerPoint Attention to detail with the ability to come up with innovative ideas Fast learner & eager to expand channels Interest in factual entertainment, sports and digital video Ability to work on tight deadlines Team player & honest- able to take responsibility for its own actions Good communication skills
Metrics: Actively contribute in taking over regular reports Able to run, understand and deliver audience metrics from the rating software
