The ideal candidate would have some understanding / experience in embedding electric motor control capability within the power electronics enclosure. An understanding of thermal management within compact packages of power electronics is desirable for this role.PRINCIPAL TASKSFull cycle Power electronics design i.e. conceptual design, analysis, detailed design, support to manufacturing, operational test and New Product IntroductionDefinition and design of hardware for highly integrated mixed-signal embedded control units for power electronic equipmentDFMEA and mitigation actions on own designSupport overall safety processes by performing FMEA analysis as requiredContribute to defining and establishing Verification & Validation process as well as to the Change Management processDeliver products and documentation to customer specified quality management process and in general to aircraft quality management systemSKILLS AND QUALIFICATION At least 5+ years relevant experience in Hardware Requierments, HW Architecture and HW Schematic diagram, Electronics design Expert knowledge in PCB design of complex mixed-signal circuitry using Altium toolsImplementation of high-speed digital interfaces such as PCI express, Ethernet, CAN, ARINC, I2C/SPI and RF circuitry ensuring optimum signal integrity.Previous experience in designing for ESD/EMCSelf-motivated, with an aptitude to problem solve and drive difficult issues to conclusionExperience in testing / working with testing teams for development and Production testingExcellent communication (oral & written) & interpersonal skillsExperience in writing technical reports/ documentationDESIREABLEExperience in simulating and verifying the thermal behaviour of Power Electronics unitsExperience in Model based system engineeringFamiliar in PTC integrity modellerOUR BENEFITS Powerful teams, open and friendly working atmosphere as well as flat hierarchiesExciting projects at a high technological levelFlexible working hours / WFH (remote)Further training and development opportunities
