About the job 

We are looking for a passionate Price Manager

Pricing manager relates to all aspects of intra-group pricing arrangements for the services provided between related business entities. As our New Pricing Manager, you will work with the wider Infrastructure team and our stakeholders to enhance our pricing framework. We aim to attract new customers through fair prices and to ensure the company’s business objectives are met. This includes owning all aspects of new business pricing, starting from setting strategic objectives through to implementation and price testing. You will work alongside the analytical community to develop best practices such as embedding new sources of data enrichment and enhancing machine learning capability.

Your skills: 

  • Have a finance/accounting qualification, with confirmed post qualification work experience in a similar role 

  • Experienced in managing ERP solutions 

  • Experienced in implementing best practices in order to improve overall pricing and invoicing processes 

  • ITIL Foundation Certification is an advantage 

  • In-depth knowledge of processes, research, and performance analysis capabilities 

  • Negotiation capabilities and problem-solving mindset; 

  • Understanding the IT Service industry as well as the relevant marketplace;

  • Effectively cope with change; comfortably adjust to alterations in work activities; able to decide and act with limited information; effectively handle risk and uncertainty in ambiguous situations; 

  • Demonstrated resilience, diplomacy, influence, relationship building, and problem-solving skills in a variety of situations; 

  • Be proactive and communicative; 

  • Team focused on sharing knowledge and increasing the skills of the whole team; 

  • Highly effective written and oral communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and experience dealing effectively with a wide range of people; 

  • Fluency in Business English is required; 

  • Customer-oriented behavior; 

  • Fast learner - research capabilities for obtaining the required information. 

  • Tasks: 

  • Governance of pricing administration for services, including review of new / existing arrangements; 

  • Building and maintaining robust pricing models and implementing pricing strategies by optimising new business performance in line with business objectives. 

  • Seeking and identifying opportunities to improve model performance through new data items or analytical techniques; 

  • Developing robust data sets to ensure data adequacy and accuracy, including working with the Financial Analysts to support the life-time value models; 

  • Performing competitor analysis and applying analytics and insight towards Business Case appraisals

  • Forecasting key business performance metrics, measuring performance against forecast, and ensuring deviations in key metrics are explained

  • Actively contribute to the further development of the Pricing area in cooperation with the Service Owners, technical teams and Financial Department;
